Take Advantage of Tremendous Networking Opportunities
Whether you're looking to build strong business relationships, influence legislative decision-making at both the local and national levels, increase your workplace knowledge or learn more about innovative new products available to the electrical contractor, the Rocky Mountain Chapter IEC hosts an event that is right for you!  Designed to be both informative and fun, IEC events feature dynamic speakers, exciting locations and unique activities!
Membership Dinner Meetings:
These regularly scheduled dinner meetings work to provide IEC members with the tools and resources necessary to stay ahead in the ever-changing electrical industry.  Combining dynamic guest speakers, knowledgeable industry professionals, and timely information into one convenient evening makes for an event you can't afford to miss.  To keep things interesting, the Rocky Mountain Chapter IEC frequently ventures out to some of the hottest spots in town, including The Denver Chophouse, C.B. & Potts Restaurant and Brewery, The Westin, the Colorado Governor's Mansion, Wynkoop Brewery, Mile High Station and Palette's Contemporary Cuisine.
Apprentice Wire-Off Competition:
Each spring, the Rocky Mountain Chapter holds its Apprentice Wire-Off Competition, an event designed to provide our top-graduating students with an opportunity to "display" their skills while competing for the honor of representing the Chapter at IEC's National Wire-Off.  In addition to the competition, the winner also receives an all-expenses paid trip to IEC's National Convention in the fall!
RMC Annual Golf Tournament:
Undoubtedly one of the most popular functions of the year! In addition to providing an enjoyable afternoon for our Contractor Members, the Annual Golf Tournament also presents a host of sponsorship opportunities for the Industry Partner company looking to promote their products and services in front of a huge potential customer base.  2009's Golf Tournament was held at Columbine Country Club in Englewood and boasted the highest attendance to date!
Membership Luncheon:
Held twice a year, the Membership Luncheon is designed to not only make new members aware of the benefits and services available through IEC Membership, but to bring current members up-to-date on some of the exciting events and activities planned for the months ahead.  And just to show that IEC is serious about helping you make the most of your membership, this event is ABSOLUTELY FREE!
Oktoberfest Celebration:
Break out your lederhosen and join the Rocky Mountain Chapter for its yearly Oktoberfest celebration to benefit There With Care, a Denver-based organization dedicated to providing services to critically ill children and their families.  The RMC is committed to giving back to those in the community, and has found a perfect partner in There With Care.  The organization works closely with local businesses, hospitals, professional caregivers and community volunteers to provide a range of practical services for children and families who are facing a medical crisis right in the Denver-metro area.
