Marilyn Akers Stansbury was named CEO of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Independent Electrical Contractors (IECRM) in 2015. IECRM is Colorado’s top electrical and renewable energy trade association and the largest IEC electrical apprenticeship training program in the country. Marilyn is a long-time executive leader and change advocate, she has moved complex initiatives from vision to sustainability by reflecting the basic importance of people as the secret sauce in making change stick. For the past 30 years, she’s brought her special brand of leadership to bear on creating teams of equals that work as one powerful force to unlock an organization and sustain its potential.
As Chief Financial Officer, Kori Hemans acts as the primary financial point person at IECRM. She oversees every aspect of financial management, legal issues, and human resource activities. She has spent the past 15 years engulfed in Accounting and Finance, and she “loves all aspects of the craziness.”

Kori is a Denver native who wouldn’t dream of living anywhere else. She and her husband, Aaron, are proud parents of a ten year-old boy named Aiden, and a six year-old girl named Reagan, who both keep them laughing and on their toes at all times. Kori loves creating crafts and spending time with her family.
Mary Beth Armbruster, Director of Operations & Member Services, is responsible for serving the members of IECRM, business development, corporate member relations, and overseeing daily operations of the association. She joined IECRM in spring of 2016 after serving as a membership consultant for two years, preceeded by 20 years creating and managing successful and large membership programs in the museum field.
Paul Lingo, Training Director, is a Journeyman Electrician who oversees all IECRM instructors and assists in providing the necessary planning and implementation for all training-related activities (both classroom-based and web-based). Paul oversees curriculum enhancements, supplementary training materials and equipment, and the ongoing development of lab facilities and exercises. He implements IECRM’s workforce development initiatives, and in the creation and execution of a wide variety of other specific training classes and programs. Paul serves as First Year SME (Subject Matter Expert) for IEC National.

Paul was born in Billings, Montana. He is a US Navy Veteran – Landing Signalman and Search and Recovery Swimmer. Paul is a proud parent.
Annette Gauna, Training Manager, recently celebrated her 18th year at IECRM. Annette manages the day to day needs of students in the Apprenticeship and Training Program and in Career College classes. She manages class registration, grades, and attendance. Annette coordinates Graduation for Fourth Year Apprentices, and manages the Live-Online Apprenticeship Program. For the past ten years, Annette has volunteered at Colorado Construction Career Days.

Annette has a seven year old son named Jamez whom she is very proud of. Annette is a Denver native, and she spends much of her time exploring new places in Denver with her son, and visiting family in California and Trinidad, Colorado. Her future goal is to learn Spanish as a second language with her son (who knows more than her, by the way).
Steve Yaussy, Training Coordinator, is a Master Electrician with over 38 years in the trade. The essential role provided by this position is to help the Training Director by leading the IECRM Instructor Team and assisiting in providing the necessary planning and implementation for all training related activities (both classroom and web based). As a previous instructor and contracting member of IECRM, Steve strives to maintain the excellence in the training program that our members have come to expect. Did you know? Steve has a passion for short term mission work and has used his expertise in the electrical field to help to build schools, orphanages, clinics, and churches in Mexico, Nicaragua, Haiti, Bolivia, and Norway.
Katie Shobe, Marketing Manager has an extensive background in the offset and digital print industry. She served in many roles including prepress operator, graphic designer, marketing consultant, sales representative, customer service representative, and operations manager. Being recruited to serve as Marketing Manager for IECRM has opened up the opportunity to pursue her passions for creative writing, coordinating events, web design, video production, and most exciting of all, to give back to the community and create awareness about the many programs that IECRM offers to benefit our U.S. veterans, emerging business leaders, contractors, industry partners, and students. To be able to witness and be a part of such a positive force is something that she is truly proud of!

Katie is a Colorado native that enjoys spending her free-time exploring and going on adventures with her two sons, ages 8 and 10. Next on her list to explore is Disneyland and Universal Studios in Los Angeles, California and the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, NM. She hopes that her passion to give back to the community is passed along to her two sons.
Terri Reynolds, Compliance Manager, will implement and maintain the Registered Apprenticeship Program, assist contractor members and students with registrations/cancellations, OJT, certificate requests, hire lists and compliance reporting to EGTC, DOL & DORA. Previously, Terri was our Administrative Specialist here at IECRM for almost two years. She was employed at SimplexGrinnell for 16 years, with the last 7 years as the Western Operations Executive Assistant. Prior to that was at Intel Corporation in Santa Clara, CA for 13 years as Administrative Assistant supporting five Advertising Managers.

Terri grew up in the California Bay Area, and has been in Colorado for 18 years. She will be married to her wonderful husband Bob for 18 years, and they have three beautiful boys and three beautiful grandkids. Terri belongs to a wonderful group called the Colorado Patriot Guards, giving support to our veterans and their families.
