IECRM ANNOUNCES TERRITORY WINNER OF IDEAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Northglenn, Colorado, November 14, 2016 – Following an intense and highly-spirited round of competition, Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM), is pleased to announce that David Kohler, an IECRM Instructor, has been named the winner of the IDEAL National Championship for the Denver territory of the United States, aditionaly a team of Professionals from Encore Electric, an IECRM contractor member company, will make the top 5 teams Nationally. Each winner will receive a 13-piece IDEAL Tool Kit and a travel accommodations, provided by IDEAL, to complete against other territory winners in the National Championship finals at Walt Disney World® in Orlando later this month.

The IDEAL National Championship is part of the company’s centennial celebration and was created to showcase the abilities of America’s electrical professionals, students and apprentices. Starting in May and ending in October, electrical professionals and students/apprentices participated as individuals or teams in one of many first-round events held by electrical distributors, trade schools and other organizations across the country. Over $500,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded by IDEAL in the nationwide competition.

‘My congratulations to all the winners of this year’s competition, who excelled against some stiff competition for the top slot in their territory,” said (representative from distributor or school). “The IDEAL National Championships gives seasoned professionals and students alike the chance to demonstrate their talent and try their hand at essential trade skills. It was an honor to be part of this amazing competition.”

A total of sixty-seven individual professional electricians, and five teams made up of three electricians, and sixty-seven individual student/apprentices five teams of three student/apprentices will be competing in the IDEAL National Championship semi-finals. Similar to the qualifying rounds, the semi-finals and finals events will challenge participants to complete various electrical tasks using high-quality, professional IDEAL tools.

IECRM Self-Pay Tuition Policy

 

Self-pay students who are employed with a member company must register and pay through the member company using the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process in order to qualify for member rates.

Self-pay students that are employed with a member company but that do not register and pay through the member will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


Self-pay students who are employed with a member company and require a payment plan will not qualify for the member rate and will be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


Self-pay students who do not work for a member company will continue to be charged the non-member rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.


To maximize association/membership benefits, ALL member companies are encouraged to register and pay for all enrolled apprentices utilizing internal payment arrangements and processes between employer and employee.


We value our IECRM members and apprentice community. We encourage all apprentices to be enrolled in the four-year apprenticeship program, earning, and learning their way toward Journeyworker licensure. We encourage all members to utilize the member discount for tuition, books and applicable fees to ensure the long-term support and success of the next-generation electrician.

Self-Pay Payment Plan Policy


We offer the following arrangements for students that are unable to pay in full at the time of registration.


● Self-pay students will be charged the non-member rate.
● A 50% down payment of total semester tuition, books and applicable fees are due at registration.
● Remaining balance can be divided up to 3 additional monthly payments ($10.00 processing fee applies on each installment)
● All payments that are declined will incur a $20.00 NSF fee.

 

We encourage all students who are employed with a member company to work with their employer to register and pay through the IECRM Flashpoint Enrollment Portal/Process. This will ensure the student is paying the lowest possible rate for tuition, books and applicable fees.
