IECRM Names Mary Beth Armbruster as Director of Operations and Member Services
In 2016, Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM) named Mary Beth Armbruster as its new Director of Operations and Member Services. Armbruster leads business development and corporate member relations, develops and streamlines the association’s systems and services, and directs the organization’s marketing and communications initiatives. She helps forge high quality professional development and continuing education programs delivered in top form to career college students and association members.
Armbruster joined IECRM in 2016 preceded by 20+ years creating and directing successful, large membership programs in the museum and cultural sectors. Her experience as a dynamic executive includes a track record of exceptional achievements in nonprofit administration and record-breaking results across audience acquisition, engagement, and revenue contribution through creative, analytical, pragmatic yet possibility-driven approaches.
Armbruster’s career path is comprised of the launch of a large membership program for a new aquarium (Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA); leading a good membership program to great with record-breaking sales through innovation, strategic change management, and perseverance, positioning it as the largest membership of any natural history or science museum (Denver Museum of Nature & Science); and helping nonprofits succeed through strategic planning, smart communications, and best practices (Children’s Museum of Denver, and History Colorado). Her background includes serving on national association committees for AAM, AMMC, and AZA. She believes that when the senior team leads change through innovation, best practices, and collaboration, the impact can be profound.
