Northglenn Winlectric Wins First Place at the 2015 Annual IECRM Golf Tournament That Raised Over $3,000 to Benefit Veterans

DENVER, Colorado — September 16, 2015 – On September 11th, Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain (IECRM) held its Annual Golf Tournament at Fox Hollow Golf Course in Lakewood, to celebrate the IECRM skilled trade training facility and construction-focused trade association. Northglenn Winlectric (www.northglennwinlectric.com), an electrical supply wholesaler, won First Place in the tournament, with Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) (www.ceddenver.com), an electrical products distributor, coming in a close Second Place. The “Most Honest Team” award went to Crum Electric Supply (www.crum.com), and electrical products distributor. The Annual Golf Tournament is a fundraiser that involves professionals and companies who support IECRM and its mission of advancing America’s energy contractors and the IECRM Veteran’s Committee.

Players donated over $3,000 at two fundraising holes, and 100% of the proceeds were dedicated to IECRM Veteran’s Committee. A big thank you to Northern Electric, Inc. for being the premiere sponsor of these holes. The funds will be used for community outreach and career transition support for US Veterans. The IECRM Veteran’s Committee members believe that through fellowship and education of transitioning military personnel, they can advance career minded veterans with electrical and energy profession opportunities located in the Rocky Mountain region.

“The Veteran’s Committee has 14 active participating members. All members are dedicated in helping our Veterans! From participation at Military job fairs, educating other veteran groups, working with membership, and recently working one on one with a few veterans in resume building and making introductions to other IECRM members for possible employment. It is a distinct pleasure to be part of such an energetic group of professionals.” said Dave Jensen, US Marine Corps Veteran, X.O. of IECRM’s Veteran’s Committee, and is currently the Branch Manager for North American Video (www.navcctv.com).
